Devious Journal Entry

Thu May 22, 2008, 11:14 PM
My mom brought home donuts. Diet, what?

I'm working at Bob Evans. Now Jacob is dying to see a picture of me in the blue apron. Ugh.

David and I.....ehh.

I'm probably getting a second job so I can pay for something besides gas this summer.

I sent in a query letter to Seventeen Magazine about a manuscript that I wrote for class this past semester. Our professor told us to expect three months before getting a response, but a response is promised.

And I'm tanner right now than most people are.

Oh summer.

your gallery would be a lot nicer without all the myspace looking pictures.

Don't get me wrong, you're pretty and all, but from one deviant to another, they don't convey much meaning other than, "I'm trying to look hot for the internet."

I'm not trying to offend you, just trying to help if you're looking to be better photographer than you are now. Can't stress that enough.

and swell, made up for everyone else, happy and horribly well; the girl with her soul on a shelf.
alright here is the GLOW junx. sorry it took so long, but dA hates me over the last few days...

GLOW was started by Alicia (not sure of last name) and Christine (Minnie) Sheridan. They are president and vice president of teh club as of right now, although since Alicia plans on dropping out, I don't know how much longer that's going to last. as a club, we have set up commitees to organize different aspects of different events. for example, on the anniversary of Matthew Sheprd's death there were certain club members responsible for making ribbons and others for passing them out. During my Graduation Project Show, ACT (Accepting and Caring Together), there were cast members, crew memebers, myself (the director), people who helped with food, ticket sales, making bracelets, floding ribbons, hanging posters, etc. there were little teams for everything. over this past Day of Silence, there was a certain comitte for everything: handing out fliers downtown, making poster boards to hang up in the cafeteria, hanging fliers around the school, creating flier ideas, printing out green DOS cards, finding info and contacting the TJ Gay Straight Alliance for the "Break the Silence" party in the park (which, btw, never happend because TJ told us the wrong park and we, as an FHS club didn't get any of the publicity in the Freserick News Post that we had called and set up...grrrr...), and other stuff, like making shirts with GLOW written on the front and nicnames on the back. We have done a lot this year even though it doesn't seem like it. we're a club that's breaking new ground in aschool that, suprisingly, isn't all that receptive to our efforts. there are rumors of a myspace website called FADE (fag and dyke elimination) that apparently was created in hateful response to GLOW's efforts for FHS' lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (lgbt) communtity. the person who started it goes to FHS, and is the one responsible for tearing down our posters for DOS. in response, we just hung up more posters; double the amount we had originally, and just didn't let it bother us.
GLOW is for everyone, gay straight, bi, transgender, undecided, or whatever. we don't judge, we don't hate, and we welcome help and ideas from anybody. we encourage people to join the club for the end of this year, next year, and for years to come. there have been efforts to atart a club like GLOW in teh past, but no one has kept it going until now. come to a meeting and you can see what we're up to. our next project will hopefully be soemthing revolving around pride week. a week celebrating the pride people of the lgbt communtity and their allies feel in being out (of the closet) and free.

thats all i got so far. ask me any questions later

thanks for writing this article natalie...
